Some of our politicians in Wales have been more quick than others to realise the power of blogging, using it to push their own message, in their own words and without any editing that inevitably happens when they send their press releases to the local 'papers.
To help the stragglers, this week there was a Welsh blogging debate organised by the Bevan Foundation, presumably to try to win over the others.
Personally, I like the way Bethan Jenkins' blog tries to reach her audience. She's experimenting with the medium, video blogging, twittering, etc.
Meanwhile, one of our more local AMs, Eleanor Burnham, doesn't seem to be that much of a fan [even though she blogs here but calls it 'news'.[!]].
Eleanor still believes bloggers have "nerd-like qualities", but to everyone else in the know they were early adopters to what is now a mainstream social media tool.
To keep across Welsh politics blogs and others, you could use www.blogcymru.com which aggregates feeds from us bloggers in Wales.
